Welcome to the National Outreach Perinatal Educators Website!
Overview of Perinatal Education
This site will provide information about quality educational programs
and resources for all perinatal providers. Every three years,
since 1977, volunteer Perinatal Nurse and Physician Educators have coordinated
a National Outreach Education Conference. These conference themes have
been focused toward educating the educator. Over the years, more than
1200 participants have come together to learn how to improve the quality
of education in perinatal care. See Conference
History.
Purpose & Goal
The purpose of this group of nursing and medical professionals
is to address educational issues which impact perinatal care. Using evidence
based research, we strive to develop quality perinatal programs in the
United States. Our overall goal is to improve the care and health of
women and infants. See Resource
Page, National Education.
